Tell your real estate professional your reason for selling, before settling on your offering price. Your motivation to sell should be between you and the real estate professional you select to market your propertyand no one else. Because the first question a potential buyer often asks is "Why are they selling?" If they can determine that your situation is one they can take advantage of, your bargaining position is seriously jeopardized. The price you eventually receive could be far less than the property is worth.
